Every year Malawi suffers from food shortages, sometimes with shocking famine. The way corn was grown had too little of a return to provide food for everyone. This was the reason to introduce a new agricultural method: the Food For Life (FFF) project.
In 2012, the art of Charity Foundation started this project with 27 farmers. The new method worked! In 2020, eight years later, more than 5,000 farmers are already involved in the project and the yield is 5,000 tons of maize. Every second someone in Malawi eats a plate of porridge!
